«Pilgrim Code». Vladimir Golubev’s Personal Exhibition

The personal exhibition of the artist Vladimir Golubev, a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia, is open at the Theatrical Gallery on Malaya Ordynka from September 21.
The exhibition features two series: «Pilgrims» and «Mikhel – Masquerade».
All the works are united by the theme of pilgrimage. The «Pilgrims» series is a kind of the artist’s pilgrimage to his favorite places. The artist says about this series that «this is a pilgrimage to perfect plastic worlds by the simplest means: a pencil and a watercolor… This is a pilgrimage to something I love. As beloved paintings, a pilgrimage without beginning and endless…».
«Mikhel – Masquerade» is a fabulous journey to the enchanted imaginary worlds associated with childhood, which we always cherish in our hearts.

About the artist:
Vladimir Golubev /1961, Moscow/ – artist, member of the Artists’ Union of Russia, participant of international and Russian exhibitions. In 1987 he graduated from the art department of the Russian State University of Cinematography. He was awarded with diplomas of the Academy of Arts of the USSR and a silver medal of the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR. Now Golubev is an Associate Professor at the Russian State University of Cinematography.
