About the beautification works on the territory of the Museum main building

The improvement and beautification works have started on the outdoor territory of the main building of the AA Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. The historic territory will be adapted to the modern life of the museum. The first phase of these works have to be completed in the shortest time – not later than September 4, 2016, the date which was set by the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation.

We would like to thank in advance all employees and visitors for their understanding and patience with the inconveniences causing by these works.

The beautification works covers the whole territory of the Alexey Bakhrushin’s former estate, which restores its historical boundaries now. The vertical planning of the area will be arranged in order to provide rainwater removal. The internal area will acquire the united and  modern covering made of paving stones; boundary fences with the adjoining houses will be restored. Moreover a small parking is planning to be placed on the museum territory

The museum court will become greener. In its central part a small park with walking paths will appear and  new trees and shrubs will be planted.

As all works finish the museum complex becomes a pleasant recreation  place, where the museum will provide additional opportunities for outdoor activities for all visitors.
